CCMP – Cactus Core Mobile Platform

Currently in version 2.0 the CCMP is the technology core of our business. In short its and advanced mobile transaction system, connecting services with end-users. You could use it to deploy your own mobile services!

In more detail the CCMP is a complex middleware platform consisting of many layers of technology:

Our connectors handle third party communication including integration with network operators.

Our Message Queue handles all internal messaging, securing no data loss and structured internal transaction handling.

The system is running with a Distributed Service Manager, enabling us to tear down and start up system components and services without interfering with the rest of the system.

Further more the CCMP has a set of central rules that can be used to maintain network operator specific policies, service specific business rules or other general or custom rules for all or some services.

The CCMP also features a set of pre-written modules also know as Cactus BLOX. Developing new services on the CCMP framework is easy, but with the Cactus BLOX its easy and fast. You can reuse pieces of code, standard functions and general routines already written as Cactus BLOX. When writing your own application you can focus on the pure logic of your new mobile service, leaving the boring stuff, including the creation of messages, sessions, billing requests and SMIL formats to us. We keep our Cactus BLOX up to date and the rules running on the CCMP makes sure your service complies with whatever local rules might be in force today and tomorrow.
